The crew of LULA is specialised in deep sea cinematographic documentation. Submarine Lula is a perfect tool for this purpose. Each dive is documented audio-visually.

Rare species were documented on video, some of them for the first time ever, such as the deepwater squid Loligo Forbesi which has never been observed in its natural habitat before, silver scabbardfish, sixgill sharks, frogfish, deepwater oysters and the deepsea shark oxynotus paradoxus which had never been seen alive before.

Images have been shown on German TV (3Sat, BR and NDR). FRN offers complete productions, also on DVD, material from the film archive, and the use of submarine LULA for cinematographic expeditions.
